At about 20 minutes from the centre of town, Bondi Beach is the most famous beach in Sydney. Paradise for party animals, surfers and womanisers.
My suggestion
There are festivals and activities all year. The idea time to go is during the Surf Life Saving carnival with rescue demonstrations.
Located 7 km away from the city centre, Bondi Beach is a popular and g lamorous spot in a wealthy neighbourhood of Sydney. Bondi is the place to be seen amongst the bronzed surfers and pretty girls.
My suggestion
You can laze around on the beach, go swimming or surfing, shop till you drop or go for a walk along the coast to Coogee (about 2 hrs.).
If you find the waves too scary, you can swim in the Bondi Iceberg pool which is filled with water from the ocean.
