You should stop here for the many museums, the Ethnographical Museum shows off the richness of Ethiopian cultural diversity and there is also the Ethiopian Natural History Museum and the Addis Ababa Museum. Your tour of Ethiopia continues to Harar in the east, the fourth most important Islamic town. Most loved for its narrow streets, colourful houses with carved wooden balconies, 110 mosques and numerous mausoleums and oratories! To the south of Addis Ababa, in the “Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region”, you may visit some of the seven superb lakes which form a water chain in this beautiful part of The Great Ethiopian Rift Valley. There is plenty of ornithological fauna as well hippopotami & crocodiles. Finally, in the south-west of the country you can meet the ethnicities protected from western influences.
