Avoid Nusa Dua if you really want to discover Bali and escape the glitzy side of tourism.
Nusa Dua is on the island of Bali and is a seaside resort dedicated wholly to tourists who love its paradisaical beaches.
My suggestion
It is not easy to eat local food in Nusa Dua. Get away from the main streets where eating is more expensive and not typically Balinese and find a little street vendor who will sell you some good nasi goreng served in a banana leaf.
