Mudumu National Park is located in the Caprivi Strip in Namibia, on the border with Botswana. It extends over 740 km² and includes a part of the Cuando River, particularly enjoyed by animals, especially elephants.

I stayed in the heart of Mudumu National Park in a magnificent camp consisting of chalets made from natural materials, on the banks of the Cuando River. The site was really exceptional. 
The safaris are of a high quality as you see lots of predators there and the rangers are very professional. And, of course, you see lots of elephants all year round, and even more during the migration season. Entire families who bathe, play and take mud baths... You see them in their daily life and the show is unforgettable. In the evening, you set off on boat trips to see the sunset, hippopotamuses and the animals who go to drink at the river (we saw a group of lions, giraffes, buffaloes...); the experience is intense. 
Lovers of birdwatching will also be delighted; apparently, there are close to 400 birds who live there. Personally, I find it a little boring to watch birds, so I can't testify on this activity...
