I came to Kaokoland mainly to meet members of the Himba tribes who live here. There are organisations who arrange guided visits, I joined on to a group and I went to the homeland of a Himba family. We got to see how they live, and they shared the activities of their daily lives with us, which I managed to do more or less!This arranged meeting gave us the opportunity for exchange and dialogue during the brief visit. &nbsp;On leaving the Himba family, I cross Kaokoland and continue north where the condition of the roads becomes steadily worse. It takes me several hours to travel just sixty kilometres. I head for the Kunene river.&nbsp;
