First of all, I want to point out that I went to Nepal before the earthquake of 2015. Some things have certainly changed since then.
A trip to the roof of the world is a great project in itself. And in Nepal everything is made easy for you: all along your hike you will find "tea-houses" or hotels where is it possible to eat, boil your water and even have shower - with hot water! Needless to say that it is unnecessary to put too much into your backpack, apart from some really warm clothing.
In fact, I went on a twenty-day trek without an agency or porter with barely 10 kilos in my bag - what a luxury! The gateway to the trek is the city of Besisahar, which you can reach with an early morning bus from Pokhara. After two to three hours by road, you have the choice between travelling further by car or continuing on foot, generally in the direction of the city of Bhubhule.
What can be said about the place except that it is an obligatory stopover during<a href="/nepal/"> your trip to Nepal</a> if you decide to do this trek and that you can buy shampoo/cakes/toilet paper or a few products that you might have forgotten?
